Dear All

G-CERTI CO., LTD. is pleased to announce that we have successfully acquired accreditation for ISO/IEC 37001:2025

@ ISO 37001:2025 Overview

    * ISO 37001:2025 specifies requirements and provides guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving an anti-bribery management system (ABMS). It is applicable to all organizations—regardless of type, size, or sector—and is based on the High-Level Structure (HLS) for easy integration with other ISO standards like ISO 37301 and ISO 9001.

@ Main Objectives

    * Prevent, detect, and respond to bribery risk
    * Promote a culture of integrity and transparency
    * Comply with anti-bribery laws and international standards
    * Protect the organization’s reputation and stakeholder trust

@ Key Highlights of ISO 37001:2025 Revision

1. Strengthened Anti-Bribery Culture
The new revision emphasizes fostering a culture of integrity and anti-bribery awareness across the organization. Leadership is expected to actively promote and demonstrate ethical conduct.

2. Stronger Leadership Role
The responsibilities of top management and governing body are more clearly defined:

    * Ensure adequate resources
    * Review system performance
    * Set and enforce anti-bribery policy

3. Clarification of the Anti-Bribery Function
The role formerly known as “compliance function” is now referred to as the “anti-bribery function”, highlighting its independence, authority, and responsibilities.

4. Enhanced Risk-Based Approach & Due Diligence
    * Organizations must conduct:
    * Thorough bribery risk assessments
    * Due diligence on business associates and transactions
    * Tailored controls based on the nature and scale of the risks

5. Focus on Conflicts of Interest
New requirements strengthen the identification, assessment, and management of conflicts of interest, ensuring that they are disclosed and mitigated properly.

6. Harmonization with Related Standards
    * ISO 37001:2025 aligns more closely with:
    * ISO 37301 (Compliance Management)
    * ISO 37000 (Governance of Organizations)
    * ISO/TS 37008 (Internal Investigations)

This facilitates integrated governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) systems.

7. Consideration of Broader Contextual Issues

Organizations are encouraged to consider environmental, societal, and governance (ESG) factors, including climate change, when determining bribery risks.

8. Training and Awareness

Greater emphasis is placed on:
    * Training staff and third parties
    * Ensuring awareness of bribery risks and reporting mechanisms

@ Transition Period

Published: February 2025

Transition Deadline: Expected by February 2027 (2-year period for certification bodies and certified organizations to shift from ISO 37001:2016)

@ Expected Benefits
    * Legal and regulatory compliance
    * Better risk and reputation management
    * Strengthened stakeholder trust
    * Safer international business engagement
