Congratulations on obtaining GCERTI certification!

Congratulations on your efforts, which have culminated in the credible certification from GCERTI, an ISO management system certification body and ISO auditor training institute accredited by the International Accreditation Standards Agency (IAS) and the Korea Accreditation Board (KAB). This guide has been created to help you effectively promote your certification and smoothly maintain it. Please familiarize yourself with the information below to maximize the value of your certification.

Part 1. Guide to Using Certification Logos and Promotional Materials

You can enhance your company's credibility by publicly announcing your certification. Please use it properly by complying with the regulations below.

  1. Basic principles for using certification logos

    • Period of Use: The certificate is valid only within the period of validity (maintained through annual post-audit).
    • Application for Use: The official logo file can be requested through the ‘Certification Logo Application’ menu on the GCERTI website (www.gcerti.com).
    • Key Compliance Point: Use of the certification logo must not be misleading in any way to suggest that the product or service itself is certified.
  2. How to Use a Logo Correctly (✅ Use it like this!)

    Permitted Uses of the Logo:
    • Top of company documents, brochures
    • Homepage
    • Business cards, letters, and document templates
    Examples of valid logo combinations:
    • Exclusive use of the certification body (G-CERTI) logo
    • Use the certification body (G-CERTI) logo and the accreditation body (IAS) logo together.
  3. Incorrect Logo Usage (❌ Don't Use It This Way!)

    Prohibited Uses of the Logo:
    • Not for direct use on products and product packaging
    • Test report, inspection report, calibration report
    Examples of incorrect logo combinations:

The IAF or accreditation body logos must not be used alone, nor can they be arbitrarily combined without the certification body's logo.

  4. Sample promotional copy

When indicating certification status on materials such as documents, websites, or product packaging, the following examples can be utilized.

[Company Name] has been certified for the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System by G-Certi Certification Body.

※ Note: 'Product packaging' refers to any materials that can be removed without dismantling or damaging the product itself.

Part 2. Certificate Issuance and Important Notices

Certificate Issuance
  • Upon approval of the certification following the initial audit, a certificate will be issued.
  • Upon approval of the recertification audit, a new certificate with an extended validity period will be issued.
  • If there are any changes to the information stated on the certificate, such as a change of address or company name, a revised certificate will be issued upon approval.
Prohibition of misuse or misuse of authentication information
  • Proper use of the certification logo is part of the certification agreement, and violation of the regulations may result in suspension, revocation, or legal action.
  • Organizations that have had their certification revoked or have not received it may be subject to punishment under relevant laws if they falsely advertise their certification.
Verification of Certification Validity

The ISO certification your company has obtained can be verified as it is officially registered in the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) database, 'IAF CertSearch (www.iafcertsearch.org)', provided that the management system is continuously maintained and managed. An ISO certification must be searchable in the IAF database. If no search results are found, it may indicate an invalid certification, so special attention is required.

    - Width: 15mm Height: 10mm
  2. The color of the KAB mark is in principle as indicated, but in unavoidable cases it may be expressed in black and white.
  3. The KAB accreditation mark cannot be used alone, and must only be used within the scope and period of validity for which it has been accreditation. If the scope of accreditation is cancelled or reduced, the use of the KAB accreditation mark must be immediately discontinued for the cancelled or reduced scope of accreditation.
  4. The KAB mark is an accreditation mark indicating that the organization has been recognized as a quality/environmental management system certification body by the Korea Accreditation Board (KAB).
  5. The KAB accreditation mark must be used simultaneously with the G-Certification mark. To avoid confusion between the KAB accreditation mark and the G-Certification mark, the KAB accreditation mark should be positioned on the right or bottom as shown below.
