Instruction for Using the Certification Logo (Including ISO22000)

1. Principles for Using the Certification Logo

* The certification logo should only be used for the purpose of expressing the credibility of the certified organization.

* The certification logo should only be used in a manner consistent with the scope and purpose of the certification, and should not be used in a manner that may cause misunderstanding.

2. Permitted Use of the Certification Logo

* The certification logo may only be used in marketing materials (e.g. brochures, reports, advertisements) related to certified products, services, activities, processes and systems.

* The certification logo should not be used on the product itself or on product packaging.
(Specified in ISO 22003-1:2022 and ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015)

3. Prohibitions on Using the Certification Logo

* When the logo is displayed on a product, product label or product-related certificate in a way that misleads people into thinking that the product is certified.

* Any case that may exceed the scope of certification or result in false claims.

* In case of ISO 22000,
- ISO 22000 certification mark must not be used on the product nor the product packaging.
   "Product packaging" shall cover all product packaging, both primary packaging (which contains the product) and any outer or secondary packaging.
- Any statement that the client has a certified ISO 22000 shall not be use on product packaging.
   This includes all product packaging, both primary packaging (which contains the product) and any outer or secondary packaging.

4. Requirements for Logo Use

* The certification logo must comply with the specified design guidelines (color, ratio, size, etc.) and must not be used in a distorted or altered form.

* When used together with the name or logo of the G-Certification Institute, it must be clearly distinguished and not cause confusion.

5. When the certification status (suspended, reduced, expired) changes

* If the certification is canceled, suspended, scope reduced, or expired, the logo must be stopped from being used immediately.

* Any changes related to the certification status must be notified to the certification body immediately, and the updated status must be reflected only when approved.

6. Actions against misuse

* If inappropriate use of the certification logo is found, the certification body may request correction or take legal action if necessary.
